Is a Ceramic Coating Scratch-proof?
A ceramic coating will not make your car scratch-proof or protect it from rock chips, not even in the slightest. That’s what paint protection film is for.
How long do you need my vehicle?
The service will take anywhere from 2-4 days depending on your coating package and if you’re having any paint correction done. If the weather is poor, we will store your vehicle inside until it is clear so the coating can fully cure.
Are ceramic coatings sprayed or painted on?
Ceramic coatings are not sprayed or painted on. They’re applied by hand with applicator pads and microfiber towels. It is a very detailed and tedious process and if done wrong, the coating will have ugly high spots and smears that will need to be buffed or sanded down to remove.
Does a ceramic coating crack or peel off?
Ceramic coatings do not crack or peel off at the end of their lifespan. They simply degrade over time until there is nothing left of the coating. You don’t have to worry about your paint cracking or changing colors.
Do ceramic coatings change the color of the paint?
They do not change the color of your vehicle’s paint. The ceramic coating will add gloss and richness to the color, in the same way that a wax does, but you can’t change your car’s color with a ceramic coating.
Do you still have to wash your car with a ceramic coating?
ABSOLUTELY! You still need to wash and take care of your car when it has a ceramic coating. It is true that generally less road dirt and dust will stick to your paint with a ceramic coating, but your vehicle will still get dirty. Regular washing is KEY to maximizing the lifespan of your coating and preventing it from becoming clogged.
